Hi David, According to various websites the FOXCONN 661M08-FX-6LS does not support dual core processors. You can however confirm this by physically installing the processor & testing it. If it is not compatible you will either see a message on the screen confirming this or you will have no display at all. It will not damage your motherboard or CPU if it's not compatible.
This motherboard does support USB 2.0. Check to see if it shows in the control panel in Windows and reinstall if you find a red stop sign or yellow yield sign. If they do not show check the bios, found when you first start up the computer and make sure they are made active. If active but still not showing, check the cable from the motherboard to the back USB output plate. just insert ur proceesor in ur motherboard if processor fan is moving than the motherboard has minor defect i.e display problem if processor fan is not moving than the motherboard ic has burn
