Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Cox Cable Remote wont program to my Sylvania LC320ss8 tv.

there are different codes for the devices that you are using. When you want to insert the code for the tv. > Switch tv on and then switch all the other devices off. Insert code. For digi box > switch on and all other devices off. Insert code for digibox. You must then switch between tv and digi box using the buttons on the top of the remote. Toggle between tv/ digi box.

Have a go with the codes below with the tv and the digibox both on, you never know you might get lucky as these are new codes, if not revert back to 1st solution.

Universal Codes (both should work using these, i think!!!!! try 'em)

002,
008,
155,
198,
227,
231

Here are the codes for the 1st solution.

SOURCE: I keep gettting 'no CC

You will not be able to get closed captioning by pressing the cc button on your television remote control. You must turn off the motorola cable box. Yes I did say turn off the motorola cable box. You should be standing in front of the cable box when you turn it off because as soon as it is turned off you must press the menu button on the cable box (not on the remote but on the cable box) right away. If you press menu soon enough after turning it off you will get a hidden menu. You will be able to scroll down to Closed Captioning and choose enable with the left or right arrow. Then just turn the cable box back on and you should have captions.

SOURCE: How do I program my

Hello
You can use code search functtion to find and synchronise the remote with that device you wants to use with. There are some codes prerecorded to the remote's memory. If anyone matches with the code of your device, it will synchronise. If it can't, understand that your remote control cannot be synchronised with that device by any way.
[1] Manually turn on the device you want to program the remote to control [2] Use the "Function" button located at the top of the Olevia remote control to select the type of device you want to program the remote to control ("TV," "STB," "DVD," "VCR," "Audio [3] Press and hold the "Enter" and "Function" buttons together. Release the buttons when the LED indicator light for the selected device flashes once [4] Use the number pad on the remote to enter one of the four-digit device codes [if you know the code] assigned to the device's brand. The LED light indicator light for the selected device should flash an orange light three times if the code was entered properly [5] Aim the Olevia remote control at the device you are programming it to control. Press the "Power" button designated for the selected device ("TV," "STB," "DVD," "VCR," "Audio," "A," "B" or "C"). The Power buttons are located at the very top of the remote control. If the device shuts off, the remote has been successfully programmed. If the device fails to shut off, repeat the above steps once more. An other way fro code search is:

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
