Question about Televison & Video
I am sorry to say your tv is dying. The reason is bad caps on the power board. If you are very handy and know what you are doing changing the caps is not difficult. If you dont know what you are doing changing the caps could get you killed.
Also you can look up your tv on ebay and other sites sell power boards ready to install ...
Wish I had better news... best of luck

Above is a training manual, this should help you find and fix the problem if you wish to DIY. If you DO, decide to DIY, you MUST MUST get a Service Manual, for your exact make & model. it will be similar to the Training manual, but explicitly for your set. I do not recommend it however. In my professional opinion, you should contact Vizio and ask for an approved local service center, then, get a "Quote" for repair.
With faults such as this, it is important to leave them disconnected from the wall, as it is entirely possible, for a faulty, TV, to cause a fire, an explosion, or both. Anytime one hears any sort of "pop" similar or not, is grave cause for concern, as usually this means some sort of component failure, in a high voltage area.

SOURCE: AKAI LCT3201AD Tv will not
I have just repaired one of these sets for the 2nd time. The problem is definitely the Capacitors on the Main Power Supply Board. If you are handy, you could replace them yourself, or You can send your board to me and I will make the repair for you. Akai initially used what I feel are sub-standard Capacitors on these boards, and I have found that by replacing most of them, this problem can be eliminated. My email address for repairs is Lakers4life42@yahoo.com
