Hello Scott Plante - Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If any proves to be ineffective and oven does not bake or broil contact a professional to move forward accurately. Range could possibly be experiencing an issue with a wiring failure, EOC and/or faulty elements which would need further diagnosing

SOURCE: Frigidaire double oven has one element not working in each oven

sounds as if perhaps there has been a thermal overload(switch) tha has gone bad, refer to part number 119 on bothe the lower and upper oven for refernce , you should have continuity trough the switches.

SOURCE: oven not heating

If the element only works partially or not getting red hot at the "Hi" setting, the problem might be with a burned out receptacle that the element plugs into. If this is the case, replace both the element and the receptacle.

You can usually tell when the element itself burns out. It might have small holes or bubbles on the coil. Replace the element, if found defective.

How to test oven control board on a Frigidaire FEF366DBE?

Hello Shawn Lloyd, thank you for your post!

I see that your Frigidaire range blew the breaker to your home out and now the oven will not heat up properly. There is not information provided in order to test the control panel I would recommend having a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. The technician will be able to use appropriate tools in order to verify the control panel is working properly. -Matt

How do i test a control panel of a frigidaire wall oven

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you want to know how to test the control panel on your Frigidaire wall oven, model# FEB386WECH, due to the bake element not working. I also see that you have changed the bake element and only the broil works. Typically, this is not a do it yourself job, as there are no step by step instruction manuals. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your appliance and should be able to diagnose your appliance and determine why the bake element is not working. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Frigidaire oven not heating

In the oven, does the heating element and the broil element not work, or is it just one? You might just have a bad element, or a bad control board.

Frigidaire GLEB30S8CSB- the broiler doesn't work, all other functions are normal. What do I need to look at? Many thanks...

Unplug the oven.
Remove the oven racks.
Remove the bake element.
Be careful and not let the wires fall back into the holes when you remove them from the element.
Use a volt/ohm meter set for ohms or continuity to check the broil element terminals.
No reading is a bad element. If no reading replace the element.
If the element is good the control panel will have to be opened to check for power from the electronic control to the element.
Re-attach the broil element.
Access the control module for testing.
At this point you will be working with live high voltage.
Turn the power back on.
If you are not comfortable with that please call a service technician.
If you want to do it,locate the broil out put wire and the neutral wire on the control. Set the control for broil, place your meter leads on broil and "N".
No reading is a bad control module.
A good voltage reading will be a bad wire to the broil element.
