No heat while idling

Is your fan motor blowing? It could be that the fan has stopped working and you're only getting airflow from the forced air coming through the vents. Set the heater to "recirculate" and see if still get air when you're moving. If not, then your fan isn't working. COuld be a bad fan or a blown fuse. Check the fuse first.

No heat coming out of vents when blower is on

hi, you say there is no HEAT coming out when blower is on .. is air being blown out of the vents? .. if YES, cold air, then the problem may be an air lock/ a valve stuck closed/ or low coolant .. could be a problem with the air conditioning controls. If NO AIR blowing out of the vents and you can hear the fan blowing then investigate, controls to open and close vents, or possibly disconnected ducting .. if the car has been stood a long time it could be sticking vent/door/flap .. search internet for diagram of heating system for more information.

2004 mg zt cdti-heater not working

make sure you have coolant in the radiator not enough coolant and the coolant wont make it to your heater core but if your radiator is full of coolant then you might have a bad thermostat if the temperature gauge is been running low then you have a bad thermostat but if your temperature gauge is good then check your heater control valve its usually by the firewall lastly when the cars running and its the heaters on then touch the 2 heater hoses and feel to see witch ones heat up if only one hose or no hose do then the heater core is clogged up

How to change shock absorbers on a mg zt

Rear shocks would be in the boot or back seat - just unbolt and replace, you will have to remove both wheels. Front shocks may need a spring compressor if the shocks are inside the road spring, DO NOT ATTEMPT FRONT SHOCKS WITHOUT A SPRING COMPRESSOR YOU WILL GET SERIOUSLY HURT!!!

Takes while for heat to enter cab, i thought i would change heater control valve, but not sure if i have one or where it is

as funny as it sounds it actualy is supposed to take a while to heat the cab when engine is just started, what heat is is the heat from the engine is blown in to vents by a fan, so the engine needs to be warm for the heat to work. i hope this information helped. Be careful and drive safe!

My Goodman gsh103301ab. The fan in the outside unit will not come on. The heat is still coming out the the vents but, just don't think that sounds right. Is this suppose to happen?

If it's in cool mode, the outside fan definitely should run to remove the heat. If it's heat mode the outside fan will start only when pressure build up. If it's problem with condenser fan definitely the breaker or fuse will be blown when the amphs increased.

Mg zr overheating, not thermostst, seems to have airlock but not that??mystery which many others seem to have??

First thing you have to make sure that the cooling fan are working, not the a/c fan. Make sure all the hoses are the same temp. If not the thermostat most likely it my be the water pump.

Has not heat - it happened suddenly

Thermostat controls heat. There is also a

motor centrifulgal switch, in the element

circuit, that the motor closes to insure

the motor is turning. Try another heat

setting. There is more than one

thermostat. You may have blown the

'thermal fuse' too, whcih requires

replacemant.
