Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
goodluck!

### How do I fix the sin on my calculator?

It depends on the unit of measurement. The sine of one radian is about 0.84. The sine of one degree is about 0.017. The sine of one grad is about 0.015. From your numbers it looks like your calculator is set to grads when you want it to be in radians (and are you sure you want a negative number for the sine of one?).

Press the DRG key to cycle through the angular modes. One of the annunciators at the top of the display will light to indicate the current mode.

### Casio calculator fx115es inverse key not working consistently

The inverse sine is defined only for numbers in the range [-1, +1].
The sine of a number is at most 1.0. There is no number whose sine is 1.5, which is what you're asking for.
The same applies to the cosine and inverse cosine.

### I'm trying to do sin-1 7/2 but it keeps saying math error.

That is correct: there is an error in your request. The range of the sine function spans the closed interval [-1, 1]. Thus the domain of the inverse sine function (the arc-sine) is the interval [-1,1]. However you are asking the calculator to calculate outside of the domain (7/2=3.5). If you are using the hyperbolic sine sinh, that is another matter.

### Ihave sansui tv set and ihave also origenal remte but remote is n

Hi there

First thing to do is to check that the remote is working or not.

If you have a digital camera or cell phone with a camera in it, an you see a flashing light from the remote when you press a button. The light emmitted by the remote is infra red, and you y camera can detect this .

Please let me know how you get on and I will talk you through a solution to your problem

### Find csc(-330°) to the nearest hundredth

The cosecant function does not have a specific key on any calculator because it can be easily calculated as the reciprocal of sine.
Thus csc(-330°)=1/sin(-330°)=2
sin(-330°)=sin(360°-330°)=sin(30°)=0.5
csc(-330°)=1/0.5=2
If you do not want to be bothered with these facts, just calculate the sine of -330° and take the reciprocal of the result using the [x^-1] key. For the minus sign before 330, use the change sign key (-). Close the right parenthesis.

[SIN] [(-)] 330 [)] [x^-1]

### My casio calculator cfx is coming up with 'syn error' everytime I type in a sine cosin or tangent problem

Hello,
I believe you are not pressing the keys in the right order.
If you know how to set angle unit, skip this part and go to Exemples

If you want to calculate the sine , cosine or tangent of an angle given in degrees, the calculator must have the angle unit set to degrees. To do so :Turn calculator ON, scroll to [RUN] icon and press [EXE] then [SHIFT][SETUP]. On the fifth line angle must be set Degrees. If it is not in degrees, press the key correspondig to menu deg (F1)
(If you have to use the Radian as unit of angle, that is where you set it.)
So your angle is in degrees.
Exemples
To calculate the sine of 15 degrees press [SIN] 15 [EXE].
If expression inside the sine is complicated or contains diverse operations use parentheses as in the exemple
[SIN] [(] 90/2 -180/3 [)] [EXE].
You proceed the same way for cosine, or tangent.

Hope it helps.
