PSP photoX2 not responding

Hi , I've loaded the software , when i open it .. it freezes when 'updating cache settings ?/

The first time I loaded it, perfect. After a year I had a lockup problem so I reloaded it and found the updating problem. Even a full delete and reload doesn't help.

I'm having the same problem as a number of users. PSP X@ worked fine for awhile then freezes white "updating cache." No amount of system restores or uninstall/reinstall has solved this problem. This is unacceptable in today's market place and economy

The solurion to your problem is simple, go to Administrative Tools -> Services and stop ProtexisLicensing
(or just press Start-> Run -> services.msc and press Enter)
Stop the service and put on Disable.

Go to Strat-> Run -> sc delete ProtexisLicensing
and press Enter, now ProtexisLicensing will be removed from services list

Go to SYSTEM32 folder and rename these files:
- PSIService.exe - PSIService.bak
- PSIKey.dll - PSIKey.bak

Reboot your compter and reload the software. Should stop that not responding error. Paintshop Pro when it installs onto your computer also installs this adware onto the computer as well, in most cases by disable this service, it should correct your problems. Also a good idea is to disable that file indexer as well.. All that does is slow down your computer and you'll probably not use it in Paintshop Pro. It's not really needed. Hope this helps...

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Why does my adobe flash keep freezing?

Update Adobe flash player and install adobe flash plug-in. If problem still occurs then remove unwanted tool-bars and disable unwanted plug-ins. Also clear Cache - for an instant fix i would suggest to use PC optimization tool like PCFresher.

Installation of Paint Shop Pro PhotoX2; Status bar: Starting Service, 10 sec remaining presents "error 1920: Service ProtexisLicensing failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start...

The error you seem to get refers to the registration part of the install (obviously) ... this is usually not a problem and the fact that it has popped up speaks ill of the program. I am assuming you are indeed an administrator on this computer and as such you have the 'right' to install programs?

Paint shop pro tools in psp 9 and 8 question

How much memory do you have on board?? Paint Shop, Photoshop all have high memory requirements to function properly. Freezing up is usually a sign of not enough memory. I would say 2 gigs memory should be about the minimum now. 3-4 would be better.

Whenever I go to use the eraser too, psp freezes up for about 20 min or 1/2 hr. Says its looking for new items. What can I do about this. I hate to have to reinstall and lose all my settings. This is...

Erasing programs sometimes use a lot of ressources on the computer, so if you erase the erased stuff maybe you should wait until the eraser is finish to erase and the open PSP.

Hope thats helps
