How do you set segmemted timer to go on at 6pm off at 1am

Use a small screwdriver to push all the segments either in (toward the centre of the dial) or out, depending on the make of the timer, between the times indicated on the dial. This may be marked in 24hr time (1800 = 6pm, 0100 = 1am). Then set the dial time to the arrow mark according to the current time. Only turn the timer dial in the direction indicated by the arrow, otherwise you will strip the gears in the timer.

I don't know how to solve your problem but, the three lights mean this:
Red LED light indicates the battery is being charged
Green LED light indicates that the battery is fully charged
Amber LED light incidates that the battery power level is low - the battery needs recharge.
Do not recharge you battery over 24 hours.

Bulb comes on, turns off immediately on timer-installed switch

there could be a few reasons for this,
1. the timer could have been damaged during a power surge, = unusable and needs replacement
2. The program set to switch on and off was lost, and needs to be reset, try to operate the reset button, and setting the parameters again., If this is the cace, make sure the backup battery is still ok

Explicitly indicating them that you are giving them 30 days time in which they can sort out the matter and replace your shaver or else you will take the matter to the consumer court.

Door won't close light blinks

Your garage door has photoeye sensors that are blocked or misaligned. Look for a two devices one on each side of the door opening near the bottom. They usually have an indicator light on one of them that is on when they are unblocked.

Garage door stops and reverses either way-up or down-

If the light on the opener flashes when this happens, count the flashes (which indicate the type of problem) and consult your owners manual.  If you don't have the owners manual, you can find a digital copy online at the manufacturer's website. Also, check your manual for an adjustment that tells the opener how much resistance you want it to tolerate before reversing.

http://www.kenselectronics.com/lists/switches.htm

Your most likely using the wrong switch. Try the link above for the correct switch. Its a single pole 15A 125V rated switch. There are 3 terminals, the third is for the light in the switch and is a neutral wire for the indicator light only. The wires must be correctly on the terminals or else you'll create a dead short! On the link above your looking for the replacement of the ZE-215.
