Toilet flushng hi it takes maybe five to seven times before im able to flush my toilet yes the level of water is correct

I have the same issue. But it's not the same toilet brand ad what not. Not sure what brand it is but I'm having the same problem as well. The water level in the toilet is some times normal in the bowl and sometimes it's VERY low. I check all the time and the level in the back is normal. Also everytime someone uses toilet paper to obviously wipe no matter how much or how little there is always paper left in the bottom. Also when you do anything other than urinate in it you have to flush anywhere from 4-8 times in a row to get everything to go down and even more so sometimes there is a little left over in the very bottom of the bowl. I tried to pour drainer cleaner but it only worked for a day or two and then it's back to square one. My flapper is fine so I know it's not that. Do you think it's possible it could be the plumbing line? It's a rent house so maybe the people before me messed the line up?? If so isn't that the landlords problem and not mine..? Thanks.

It sounds like you have an obstruction in the toilet or in the drain line it feeds into. I would begin with a strong toilet drain cleaner. Be sure to read the directions and select the proper cleaner. If that doesn't work the next step is to pull the toilet off of the floor and phyically check the toilet and the drain beneath it. Before you start this project be sure to turn off the water to the toilet and flush so you don't have too much water to deal with. Also be sure to have a new wax seal on hand to reset the toilet. good luck.

It sounds to me like depending on the flapper installed that your flush arm chain is too long and the flapper is not flipping back far enough to do its job. Take the lid off the tank and rotate the flapper up and back to see if it flushes correctly. if it does then your chain is too long and should be shortened. Hope this helps please rate me

How do you adjust the clip so the water level increases?

You don't adjust the clip as it attaches to the pipe to automatic turn off the water at the right level, but your water may be set at to high a level that it overflows into the bowl. When that happens you can do 2 things to correct it: 1 at the wall where the cold water comes out to the toilet you can adjust it to slow the supply of water to a little less. 2. You can adjust the screw inside tank to tighten (turning screw one way) to adjust water level to shut off quicker or adjust tank screw the other way to fell take water up higher. Flush the toilet and observe the power of the flush. Allow the tank to fill until the water shuts off. Repeat the procedure to adjust the float and water level, if desired.

After installing a new flush valve, the water level in the toilet bowl seems to be much lower than it was with the old flush valve. Is there any adjustment for the water level in the toilet bowl?

Yes,there it is!You can adjust your water level at the flush valve..You can see the ball there you need to adjust that so that the water level of your tank goes to your desired level.

Hi keithn60...

I had the same problem one time with my toilet tank, the answer is to put some silicone on the seal washer between the take and bowl assembly and to use a level on the tank to tighten it just enough to be level and not leak.

Our toilet doesn't flush well. what can we do? Sometimes we have to flfush three times and use a plunger before the bowl clears.

HI

Im Rossouw

Ajuste the flout so that the tank takes more water

Recomended would be 3 leters so empty the tank throw 3 leters in and mark the level , then adjust the flout so water fills up to that point

For big pot recomend 5 leters of water.

Plz rate my solution thanx

I have a new sterling 1.6gpf toilet can I increase the amount of water in the bowl. Every time or almost everytime, waste sticks to the bowl and I have to brush it loose.

If you raise the water level in the tank it will double flush. I suggest you change out the toilet to a Toto or Kohler class five flush action.

Cadet 3 round bowl toilet not flushing all from bowl

You are probably correct, the water level needs to be raised. There are many different toilet tank systems, but all have some way to control the water level in the tank. Let me know if you need help figuring it out...

P.S. You'll have to take the lid off the tank, first...pardon me if that is too obvious

The water continue to run for a long time

You are probably going to have to replace the fill valve.

There is a chance that adjusting it may work, but it has most likely become worn and partially clogged with hard watrer deposits, dirt, etc.

This will cause it to fill slower, and cause the fill level valve to close slower resulting in higher water level. Eventually it would simply overflow the flush valve tube.

Try adjusting the fill level, but plan on the likelyhood of replacing the fill valve.
