Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

Power problem

If the protect function works but is causing you problems, cancelling the protection function should help, and it will be possible to enter the self-diagnostic function mode. This should disable all functions of the protection mode, excluding the 'excess electrical current detection' feature.

While pressing the "Tone Control" and "Info" keys, try pressing the power key to turn on the power. Keep pressing those 2 keys for 3 seconds longer.

this should activate the Self Diagnostic function, with your Protection Mode disabled.

in this mode the 'sleep' section on the tv's fluorescent display flashes to indicate that the mode is properly activated.

just be very aware, this function is normally there as a safety feature and i cant guarantee that disabling it altogether won't cause other problems down the road. best of luck!

Pc turns it self on by it's self

Make sure the power button isn't sticking at all. If it is sticking then use some glass cleaner on a cotton swab and clean around the button.
Try plugging the computer directly into a wall outlet instead of a surge protector or power strip to rule out a faulty product.
If the same thing keeps happening then you'll need to replace the power supply.

The DVD/Video keeps turning it's self of when trying to power up

There may be something wrong with the power connection in your unit. Call your manufacturer and explain the problem to them. They should be able to assist you with troubleshooting/repairs/replacements (only under warranty for repl.)

Monitor keeps saying self test everything working check plugs

The self test thinks nothing is connected to it
it might be the cable or the input circuit.
not an easy issue to verify if you only have one input.
most often its is the internal board with a failed input circuit.
you can only open the unit and test the vga cable continuity.
as most have a 1 year warranty you might want to check on yours.
