Question about Heating & Cooling

Delonghi PAC S1000 Split Airconditioner

I recently obtained a PAC S1000 split airconditioner. I is an older model, perhaps 2005/2006
I have no operating manual for this unit. However having looked at this model on the Internet, it looks slightly different than the model that I now have. Reason being is that my Unit does not seem to have the quick release/fastening joints.
Question now is how do I get the Compressor unit outside and the Fan inside the room if I can not disconnect the lines?
I would really appreciate some help here

I have a koppel split type airconditioner.my remote was deffective can i use a universal remote control chunghop.what is the code?

There is probably no code built into the Chunghop. If the Chunghop has a "Learn" function then you can teach it the commands using an original remote (hopefully you can borrow one).

Check condenser coil is cleaned. Out door fan motor is working with full speed. If not replace capacitor. And also check Running capacitor.Check gas pressure, if newly charged. Thanks.

Sound like a defective receiver board. Have this checked. Also check to see that your remote transmits. Hold the top part of the remote to your phone or digital camera lens. press a button and a light should appear on the screen of your phone or digital camera screen.

I have an airconditioner a Kelvinator KSR20C Split system

Your condensor fan motor has more than likely gone out. This fan should run at all times when the unit is on. Since the fan isn't working then the motor must have gone out.

They will have to be cut and brazed.
Regular solder will not hold.

High temp brazing is required.
Also, it is illegal to cut into a refridgerant system without first recovering the refridgerant. It is also illegal to tap into refridgerant systems without having an EPA certification. It can result in very hefty fines.

I know thats probably not the answer you were hoping for. Howver, I would be neglecting my duties to not inform you of it.

Again, to directly answer your question.
If there are no disconnects on the refridgerant lines, they would have to be cut, and rebrazed.
This requires recoveery of refridgerant, vacume of the system, and an EPA certification.

In every model there different location of manual button. Some manual button are located in front of the indoor and some are at the back of the front grille near the control board.
