Question about Washing Machines
My front load washer (Whirlpool) stops instead of emptying and spinning. It seems to be trying to empty, making a kind of whirrr sound. If I drain the machine manually (via the filter opening at the bottom, right corner) it will usually start again by itself, sometimes just for a few seconds a couple of times before it finally completes the spin.
I would suspect that there is a blockage possibly in the pump itself, or the outlet hose from the pump, the other possibility is that the impellor inside the pump is worn or being slowed down by something twisted round the impellor..
If you can establish that there is no blockage any were, then I would change the pump.
Plz rate my solution.Thanks.
