Question about Linksys WRT54GX2 Wireless-G Broadband Router with SRX200 (LS-WRT54G2)
I had to upgrade my att email and I lost the internet (my light turned red). Then when this was fixed I cannot reconnect to my Lynksys wireless router. I had to unplug it and go direct to the modem; then I hooked it back up and bridged it; but I cannot get it to connect. (AT&T said they cannot fix 3rd party routers) I can unbridge and get the internet on my computer, just not the wireless router.
I had the same problem when I switched to comcast from sbc you need to power down your modem and either press the reset button or remove the backup battery if it has one for about 30 seconds. power down your router as well. Connect everything back the way you want it and your modem will lock onto your router. You see, once the modem locks on you cannot simply plug it in to another component without restting it to open roam. Hope this helps.
