There is no manual reset switch just unhook it from the power supply to reset it

Fault onroadpro 2500w inverter. The 110vac is going on100% but desapear imediately and hear only thefault noise

Did you ever find an answer to fix your problem?
I have the same type of problem, and feel bad as I am an electronics tech with years of experience. I know that it must be a bad IC, transistor, capacitor, diode, resistor, etc. However, with all the components in the 2500, it is almost impossible to trace it out without a "Service Manual" or a schematic diagram. To blindly go in to just start 'tracing' a circuit and not knowing the wiring is not good to do. It is also almost an impossible task to simply start removing parts to test on the bench, and then reinstall. Even IF all test good, there can be a fault on the board itself. For an answer you can do as I am doing, and that is to call the company that is listed as the company involved with customer service.

If you would need to hire a tech to find the problem he would have to be a good friend to volunteer his work or the cost would be as high as buying a pure sine wave inverter.

Take care, Dave. (DJnRF at yahoo)

I have a 2500 watt roadpro, and would like to no if there is a different way to hook up to keep from killing both of my batteries in my Dodge Cummins. I have a small freezer that I take hunting so I can...

Refrigerators require a LOT of power. They are one of the biggest energy consumers in a typical household. Although they don't run all the time, they kick off and on quite a bit. To answer your question, there is no wiring solution for your problem. Power inverters are inherently inefficient as well therefore they are actually pulling more power than required to power your refrigerator. Your refrigerators will work while your engine is running (because the alternator is providing continuous power) but as soon as your engine is off, they switch to battery power. If an generator is out of the question, I'm sure you can find larger batteries that could extend the time your refrigerators can run.
I hope this helps!

Have several non working inverters

I have had this happen a few times.

Sadly replacement is the Best option.
Repairs can be %75 the cost of a new one.

The best invert we have been using is a Pure Sine 1500 watt inverter.

Sad news but hope this tip helps.

Need installation guide for 2500 roadpro inverter

No installation guide is normally needed - if you use 10 AWG wire between the battery positive terminal and the Positive input terminal of the inverter - you should be fine.

Any good ground is sufficient. Connect a wire between the inverter GND terminal and a good metal part of the vehicle. That is it....

I just bought a RoadPro 2500 and i want to buy like a dorm fridge how many watts or volts size would work??

If you are referring to the RoadPro RPPI-250
  • 2000 Watts Continuous Power
  • 2500 Watts Power Output @ 10 Minutes
  • 5000 Watts Peak Power Output.
  • A small fridge will use about 500 -700 watts, with startup wattage at around 2000watts.
  • So, a dorm fridge will work fine.
  • the RoadPro converts DC to AC voltage, so a regular 120 volt dorm fridge will work.
