There may be more than 1 limit switch. Look at the wiring diagram and follow it to all switches. Or jump out the complete circuit.

There is a limit switch above the burner with 2 wires going to it. Take a jump wire and jump out the switch to test it, It is 110 volts so be careful. If it fires, that switch is bad and will need to be replaced. There may be up to two more switches on the same circuit. These switches may be reset-able if there is a small dark red button between the two terminals. Why did the unit overheat in the first place. Is your air filter clean? Is the room air blower working? Are all return air grills free of obstructions?

Check to see if the blower motor is actually getting power to it...You will have to check for power on the heating speed terminal... and the neutral wires....you should have 120v across those two wires....
If you have power then the motor is bad...if no power then the heating relay went bad on the circuit board and you will have to replace the circuit board...
That is a common problem as those relays are often to light and wear out...
Just realize that without an electrical meter to trace things through you are really just grabbing at possibilities and not really able to correctly diagnose your problem...
