Question about Lexmark JetPrinter Color Z13 InkJet

PRINTING THE PRINTER WAS ON MY COMPUTER BUT THEY PUT IN NEW PROGRAMS NOW THE PRINTER IS NO LONGER INSTALLED IN MY COMPUTER NEED TO REINSTAL IT AGAIN DONT HAVE MY DISH TO REINSTAL THE PRINTER NEED PRINTER DESPRITLEY

Izaakzakei cant get my printer connected to my laptop i have downloaded the driver but its still not working


Hello,

You need to install the softeware first with the printer unplugged from the computer!

Insert your softeware disk and restart your computer, if computer doesn't detect new software when it is rebooting....than go into your control panel...click on install new software.

Once that is installed, you'll need to restart again with the printer hooked up this time.

Again, if computer doesn't detect new hardware, go into control panel, click on install new printer, you will have to select the make and model, or if you have the disk, select have disk, then next...you computer should install the hardware for you printer.

After installed, restart again...to see if if new software and hardware is detected and is being installed.

Go to your printers, from your control panel, and see if your printer is there, if not select, add new printer, it will take you through the process from there. Make sure you select this to be your default printer!

My Lexmark Z2320 only printing pink.... 3/4 full black cartridge, and 1/2 full color cartridge. Why only printing pink....


If your printer is only printing one color, it is a clear sign that the printer is in need of a head cleaning, and possibly an alignment. The instructions to do so are as follows according to the Lexmark website:

  1. Load plain paper.
  2. Then do one of the following:
    - in Windows Vista, click pattlnk_852008_1527-vista-start-button.gif.
    - in Windows XP and earlier, click Start.
  3. Click All Programs or Programs, and then select the printer program folder from the list.
  4. From the printer folder, click Maintenance - Align Cartridges.
  5. Click Print.
  6. Follow the instructions on the computer screen to finish

    - un Windows XP and earlier, click Start.
  3. Click All Programs or Programs, and then select the printer program folder from the list.

  5. Click Print. A page prints, forcing ink through the print cartridge nozzles to clean them.
  6. Print the document again to verify that the print quality has improved.
Complete both of these processes, and your printer should begin printing normally again.

Installed new black ink cartridge, message keeps coming up that I need a new cartridge. I have cleaned, restarted my computer, everything I can think of. It still will not print. The message says to...


Even new cartridges can prove to be faulty; even more so ones that have be refilled. If you have exhausted the options in the print software (i.e. Test Print, Print Alignment, Head Cleaning, etc.) and the reseating of the cartridge a few times, then depending on your will for either try:
1. Go to the store and replace the cartridge telling them you think its faulty.
2. Firstly, Unplug the Printers connecting cable (USB, DB25, etc.).Then uninstall both the Printing software and Printer drivers (usually the same package) under "Add Remove Programs" (Windows OS). Restart the computer, then reinstall the Printer software (following the prompts on exactly when to reconnect the printer to the computer, *Important*), and then restart again.

Hp5550 not printing


Hi,
The first thing you need to do is make sure you have the correct driver so that you can re-install your printer. Then you need to go to your Start Menu and select Printers and Faxes. Delete any printers that you don't use or no longer have, plus any instances of the Deskjet 5550. Go into your Start Menu and select All Programs. Look for the Deskjet 5550 and put your mouse on it. Look for the Uninstall link then select it. Once it has finished uninstalling the program restart your computer. Insert the CD that came with your printer and follow the instructions. Your printer should now be re-installed and working. I hope this helps you solve your problem. Good luck!

remove all the wires connected to the printer from its back.also wait for 5 minutes.then delete any pending printouts in the printque of the printer in your pc.shut down the pc.connect the printer to the pc.ON the printer.then ON the pc and then try printing it should work.

Go to Lexmark.com and check on a vista update, most of the older software simply does not work with vista.

You should be able to re align the printheads using the software package on the computer which you installed whenn you installed the printer

Doesn't pront the whole picture


Will it print it's own status page? or a page of just basic text? Are you printing a picture? You may need more than 30+ Megabytes of free disk space for the print job to spool.
0) Verify your Hard Disk has enough free space.
1) turn printer off for 1-2 min. Turn back on and try again.
2) Reboot the computer and try again.
3) Shutdown all other programs and try printing again.
4) Try printing from another program. (ie. while reading this, click print ;-) )
5) unplug printer from wall and computer; remove driver; reinstall from original disk.
6) Try printer on a different computer

If this does not help; take two aspirin and call back !
