Settings/Wifi - Assure the Wifi lists that it is turned on - if it is showing it is in the off position, flick toggle from left to right - once on, look for your network and you will have to re-enter password - click "Join" there you are
If for some reason you do not see your network, check your wifi modem - try resetting it... anymore questions you can email me directly JGunndebtservices@gmail.com

My itouch can't seem to connect to my home wifi. even though i am in range of the wifi, the connection doesn't show up in the wifi settings. how do i fix this problem?!

Has your home wifi got SSID broadcasting disabled? Also check if you can connect to any other wifi points, if you cannot see any others, there may be a fault with the wifi board of your itouch

Wont connect to internet

To connect to the internet using wifi on the iPod touch, just follow the following steps:
Firstly, you should be in a wifi zone(an area where you can access wifi) or if you want to use it at your house with your residential internet connection, just get yourself a wifi router(shouldn’t cost more than $50-60) and configure it with your residential internet Once you are in a wifi zone, on your iPod touch, go to:
Settings > Wifi > Turn your wifi ON > Select a wifi network > Key in the WEP(only if asked for) > Connect
Once you’re done with this, you should get the IP settings and be able to surf the internet with no problem.
Note: At times when you’re too far away from the wireless router or a big thick brick wall is separating you and the wifi router, your iPod might show the network as available and you would also be able to connect to it, but surfing the internet using it would become a problem. If this happens to you, don’t worry, just move closer to the wifi router and it shouldn’t pose any other problems. Happy Surfing!

Mine and my sisters ipod touch keep saying invalid argument everytime we try to get on the internet on it. If you know what wrong please anwser.

Hello there!
I might be able to help you on your case.
When you are connected to the wifi on your ipod touch do the followings
Settings>>wifi>>(you will see a blue arrow next to the wifi signal you are connected) tap on the blue button>>you will see couple of lines full with numbers.
If you see anything full less then 4 line then do these procedures.
After you press the arrow button you will see at the top part saying forget this netwok. Tap on that and then try to re-connect with the wifi. And then do the above procedures.
If it still doesnt solves your problem then this is because of your wifi connection.Try to reset your wifi connection or use another connection. Hope this will help you.

16gb ipod won't connect to internet

Try manually connecting to your network. Stand as close to the router as you can, and keep the wifi reciever pointed at it.

Alternatively, just go to somewhere in your house where you know you have a GOOD connection (closer to your router, the better), and press the power button once (to put into standby). Press it again to bring up the lockscreen, and wait. Repeat this until the wifi bar appears in your statusbar.
