Question about NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router
The power light suddenly goes off and I have to re-plug the power again and again to make it work. The re-plugging of power does not immediately fixes it, I have to try several times and then it works. Not sure how to fix this. Need help. Thanks in advance. Happy New Year 2009.
I understad that you need to powercycle the router for it to work. In this case, please note that this indicates failure with the router hardware. The only thing you can do now is upgrade the firmware on the router. You may check for firmware updates by visiting the site below:
After uploading the firmware on the router, reset the router and reconfigure it.
If the issue persists ten the best bet for the router is to either get it replaced or trash it.
