Hi My PSP's orange ligth won't turn off just always lightning when turn on my psp it's lightning with green light

Hi khangal74,
If you dont have issues playing your usual psp games, you dont have to worry about the orange light. That is normal. It means that your PSP is saving the data to your memory stick. Also make sure that your WLan switch is turned off ( that also causes a blinking orange light ). However, if you are experiencing a flickering orange light and your screen remains black ( and you cannot play any games), it means that your PSP is having issues reading you memory card.
Do these:
Remove the memory card and turn your PSP on without the memory card (it should turn on with no problems) Now, slowly re-insert your Memory stick. (You may need to do this several times until your PSP recognizes your memory card) If this still does not work, your Memory stick is busted or may be infected with a virus and therefore needs to be replaced.
Wishing you with positive results. All the best to you.

When I switch on my PSP, it directly goes onto load the UMD game and when I try to quit using HOME button, the buttons and consoles dont work. Then I need to use the hold button after which though the...

Hi. Since you're in UMD Autoload mode, you need to configure that in the PSP Settings. To do this, turn off your PSP and remove your UMD. Now, turn it back on and it won't autoload your UMD since it wasn't there anymore.
Now, go to "Settings" and scroll down to "System Settings" and press X. Scroll down again the selection until you see "UMD Auto-Start" and press X. At the right side will appear the options "ON" and "OFF". Select "OFF" and press O button several times to go back to main screen.
Insert your UMD. Now, try playing games from Memory Stick. You may have to turn off your PSP and turn it on again to finally play homebrew...
I hope this helps...

When my psp is updating , the power turn off and psp doesn't turn on

Try this:
Remove the PSP battery and memory stick from the device. You will use these again so keep them close.
Insert the magic memory stick into the PSP card reader. The memory stick holds the firmware that will be flashed onto the PSP.
Insert the pandora battery and the PSP will turn on automatically. Press the "X" button twice to flash the firmware to the PSP. Press "X" again to shut down the PSP.
Reinsert the normal battery and memory stick and turn the PSP back on. Plug the PSP into its charger and go through the normal update process again by selecting "System Update" on the PSP menu.

I can't pls all the games and some of my files is being currupted.

this depends on the format of the game you are trying to play and the destination of the game.
for example you cannot play a game from your memory stick if you are running on an official firmware so the best thing to do if you want to play games from your memory stick is to downgrade to a custom firmware and you would be able to.
remember that downgrading your psp is at your own risk and you would bear the consequences if there are any.
also, some of your files could be corrupted if they are formats that are not recognized by the psp.
for videos, there is a specific .mp4 format that the psp recognizes and anything outside this is likely not to work.
the same goes for the music, it recognizes .mp3 files that are properly converted.
you could also try formatting your memory stick but remember to back up all your necessary information before formatting it. it could be due to the effects of virus on the memory stick.
hope this helped you?please comment for more information.
please rate.

Custom firmware

Earlier you have said that you were able to play games from memory stick and since you updated your psp firmware the didn't worked.
First Check your current firmware version . To do this go to
Settings > System Settings > System Information on your PSP . If you your version showing  for example 5.00 M33 you are still in Custom firmware. In this case you should able to play the games from memory stick. or else you memory stick is back... or you custom settings are wrong.

If its showing  for example 5.00 you are with Sony's official firmware. In this case you wont be able to play the games from  memory stick. From here to make your PSP play the games from memory stick you need to Downgrade your PSP. Only way to make this possible is through Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick.
So please check your version and let me know so i can guide you further. Also tell me whether your PSP is PHAT or SLIM & LITE..... or check the version of your PSP by removing the battery. Underneth it find some letters and numbers PSP-100x / PSP-200x / PSP-300x

If you have important data on you memory stick, back them up on your computer. Then format the memory stick with your PSP. After that, put all your PSP data from the computer back onto your memory stick.

See if the PSP recognizes your memory stick. Hope that works! ^-^
