Wireless not conecting to internet.

Same router I have been using for months, and now all the sudden it wouldnt let the wireless connect. I hard reset and then did the "factory settings" in the router itself. Ethernet connects with no problem and have internet. 100.00mbs and all that jaz. Wireless however will connect with only 54.0mbs, will let me access the router(192.168.1.1) yet cannot get the internet to work no matter what i do. Tried with broadcasting on as well as off. Encripted as well as no encription. I am completly stumped.

Long time back I had a similar issue. It could be a virus in ur system that is blocking ur internet. If you have recently downloaded any files especially WINRar, then it might have the trojan that kill ur internet. Run your virus scanner completely, if it does not show anything, try Malwarebytes Anti-malware, download it from download.com and not from anywhere else. HTH.

Wont conect to internet

do you have an internal wireless adapter? Is the switch switched to on? Are you close enough to the wireless router. Do you have the right security code selected for connection to router? I would try resetting router and modem if the above is not the problem.

Hi,
what is the wireless status in system tray? is it local or local and internet.
1. first check if it works fine with wire conection or not.
2.if it fine with cable then issue is with wireless. probably issue with Wireless security key.
3. go to available wireless networks and select the net work, if it is asking for wireless key please enter that. if you donot remember that perform router reset.that takes care of it.

TEW432-BRP Trendnet wireless broadband router wont connect

Sounds like you need to configure the PC's USB wireless adaptor. The settings must be the same as the router. If you use a WEP password on the other connections then you need to have the same password on the USB wireless adaptor. Good Luck.
