Do you mean you cannot physically locate the hard drive to remove it?

    OR

Do you mean the laptop operating system cannot locate/detect the hard drive and therefore won't boot up?

On the front edge, in the middle of the lower half is a panel. It is held in place by three screws. Two of the screws are visible on the bottom of that panel. The third is hidden behind a rubber plug on the curved edge of the small panel. Gently pry the rubber plug out and you will see the third and final screw that holds the drive assembly in place.

The hard drive may be extracted by pulling the small panel straight out because the drive rail assembly is attached to the panel, too. Hope this helps.

Ignore it, it just means it could run faster if you had USB 2.0 but almost all USB devices are backward compatible to standard (USB 1)

Hi,

That model does not have an in built wireless card, you would have to get a wireless dongle.

Help,please keep answer simple.

Clicking noises coming from a computer is generally a bad hard drive and must be replaced.

*However* the power going off may mean it is a fan that is bad and needs to be replaced.

Either way the laptop will require a replacement part, so take it to a computer repair shop and will be able to determine which it is fairly quickly.
