Question about Acer Computers & Internet
I got a virus, and it won't let me do anything on my laptop. The Hard drive keeps reading. I've only had the laptop for 9 days, backups were not done. I have McAfee installed on it but when I run it, it stops responding along with any other program I run (iexplorer, antispyware, etc...). The Laptop is running on Windows Vista (unfortunately). Any direction/assistance would be greatly appreciated. Model: Aspire 5735Z
Before my Laptop became completely useless, I had found the following viruses: Vundo.exe (trojan), trojan.virtue.mondie...
Try to boot in safe mode. if it does not work :
try 2 get a norton antivirus on DVD/CD. 2008 or 2009 edition.
and auto start setup will detect the virus and remove it.
if it still not solves ur problem insert ur vista installation disk and autorun Vista setup will start. Format ur drive when setup asks you.
