I was talking on my k610i when it froze up. i couldn't turn it on or off, i took the battery out and put it back in, the light at the top turned red and flashed 5 times. my k610i won't turn on, i took i to the 3 shop and they said to go to the sony ericsson store. but that's in sydney.

ur battery is dead!!! even if u have a new phone......just plug in ur phone and take out ur battery and if it still duz it that means u killed the battery.i hope this helps a little......info by MR.GIZMO
That indicates a problem with the battery.Try a reset first.
Connect the phone to the power adapter and then press and hold the power button for more then 1 min.If it still doesn't turn on then remove the battery and sim from the back and then insert the sim back again and hold the power key for more then a min.Make sure you don't insert the battery now.Let me know the result.
my uncle just arrive from england and gave me sonny Ericsson's k610i and he said that just open line it here in the Phil. the technicians just said to us that it costs 1800-900 pesos and you can claim it tomorrow or after 3 days. thank you hope that i can use my cellphone by tomorrow
