Question about Samsung New-scx-3405fw Wireless Multifunction Laser Printer, Copy/fax/print/scan - Scx3405fw
Samsung scx3405fw MLT-D101S cartridge. After using cartridge that comes with printer, when replace with a non original cartridge, it prints well. Then removed this cartridge and replace back with the first cartridge which is still not completely used. This time a red light appears and won't print again. Message says Not Compatible Cartridge. After this, replaced with a new original cartridge and it prints just 5 pages after which the same message appears and won't print again. Now it won't print any cartridge.

The problem is that the cartridge you re using was reloaded with toner, but the remanufacturing process did not include replacing the chip. The ML2150 and the 2151N do not read the toner's chip on boot, but the 2152W does. So you either have to get a cartridge that has a new chip or get a new, genuine, Samsung cartridge.

Reputable or not, every once in a while you get a bad one (even originals). It's obviously defective. Return for a replacement
