The SMTP configuration may be off. Double check with each account that fails. Example - mail.domain_name.com.

There may be a port blockage as well, but less likely. SMTP is 587

I don't understand the "port blockage". My outgoing smtp is 587. I don't have any problem sending, only receiving on this account. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 reboots to get it to receive.

Keek -forbidden(error 408) solution

HTTP Error 408 Request timeout
Introduction

The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that there has been too long an interval of time between 1) the establishment of an IP connection (socket) between the client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) and the server and 2) the receipt of any data on that socket, so the server has dropped the connection. The socket connection has actually been lost - the Web server has 'timed out' on that particular socket connection. The request from the client must be repeated - in a timely manner.
408 errors in the HTTP cycle
Any client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) goes through the following cycle:
  • Obtain an IP address from the IP name of the site (the site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs).
  • Open an IP socket connection to that IP address.
  • Write an HTTP data stream through that socket.
  • Receive an HTTP data stream back from the Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information.
This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '408'. (Last updated: March 2012).
Fixing 408 errors - general
408 errors are often difficult to resolve. They typically involve one-off variations in system workload or operations.
If you see persistent 408 errors, the first thing to consider is the workload on the Web server - particularly around the time the 408 errors were generated. If this is light, then you also need to consider workload on the client system. If the computer systems on both ends of the socket connection seem to be running normally, then temporary Internet surges may be to blame.
Fixing 408 errors - CheckUpDown
This error is highly unlikely to occur on your CheckUpDown account, because there is usually only a tiny interval of time (milliseconds) between our 1) opening of the socket and 2) writing the HTTP data stream through that socket. In exceptional circumstances, this interval may increase because of some operations on our computer systems e.g. we temporarily suspend an executing process and this happens immediately after the socket was created. Or the two steps may follow quickly on our systems, but the second step encounters an unreasonable delay on the Internet. The acceptable interval between the two steps could also be set very low on the Web server e.g. the Web server is very busy, and has become a bit 'impatient' with attempted connections it views as a bit slow.
Any of these conditions may generate an 408 error. But they are all fairly unlikely to occur. In normal IP communications, the time interval between the two steps should be much less than 10 seconds, which should be completely acceptable to the Web server.
I hope this helps.

What is the meaning of HTTP 411

http://www.checkupdown.com/status/E411.html

HTTP Error 411 Length required
Introduction
The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the HTTP data stream sent by the client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) should include a 'Content-Length' specification. This is typically used only for HTTP methods that result in the placement of data on the Web server, not the retrieval of data from it.
411 errors in the HTTP cycle

This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '411'. Frank Vipond. September 2010.
Fixing 411 errors - general
This error seldom occurs in most Web traffic, particularly when the client system is a Web browser. The problem can only be resolved by examining what your client system is trying to do then discussing with your ISP why the Web server expects a 'Content-Length' specification.
Fixing 411 errors - CheckUpDown
This error should simply never occur on your CheckUpDown account. If it does, it typically indicates defective programming of our systems or of the Web server which manages the site. The 'Content-Length' specification is irrelevant to the type of access we use when we check your URL.
Please contact us (email preferred) whenever you encounter 411 errors - there is nothing you can do to sort them out. We then have to liaise with your ISP and the vendor of the Web server software to agree the exact reason for the error.

Please describe solution of error 413 problem:

HTTP Error 413 Request entity too large
Introduction
The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the HTTP data stream sent by the client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) was simply too large i.e. too many bytes. What constitutes 'too many bytes' depends partly upon the operation being attempted. For example a request to upload a very large file (via the HTTP PUT method) may encounter a ceiling on upload file size set by the Web server.
413 errors in the HTTP cycle

This error occurs in the final step above when the client receive an HTTP status code that it recognises as '413'. Frank Vipond. September 2010.
Fixing 413 errors - general
This error seldom occurs in most Web traffic, particularly when the client system is a Web browser. The problem can only be resolved by examining what your client system is trying to do then discussing with your ISP why the Web server rejects the number of bytes sent by the client system.
Fixing 413 errors - CheckUpDown
This error should simply never occur on your CheckUpDown account. If it does, it typically indicates defective programming of our systems or of the Web server which manages the site. The length of the HTTP data stream we normally send is relatively small and well within the limits of what most Web servers should accept.
Please contact us (email preferred) whenever you encounter 413 errors - there is nothing you can do to sort them out. We then have to liaise with your ISP and the vendor of the Web server software to agree the exact reason for the error.

Cannot connect to subscriber in China

Typically this error indicates that you are trying to send your Adhost email through Adhost’s mail server when you have not authenticated your email account to send mail. Our mail server authenticates you through your pop account. So when you check your email, our mail server authenticates your pop user and password, captures that IP that you are checking your email from, and adds that IP to our relay list. This list is flushed every 70 minutes. This means, if you try to send email after the relay list has been flushed and before you’ve attempted to check your email, you will receive this error.

How to fix the problem:

Fix #1 - reauthenticate on our server.

Remove any email from your Outbox. If you need to keep the message, you can move it to your 'Drafts' folder.
Click "Send/Receive". This will reauthenticate you.
Try resending the email.
Fix #2 - configure your email client to check for email before sending.

In Outlook, go to "Tools" and select "Email Accounts". Make sure "View or change existing e-mail accounts" is checked. Click Next.
Select your account from the list and click "Change".
Select "More Settings".
Select "Outgoing Server".
Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
Select "Log on to incoming mail server before sending mail".
Click "OK", then "Next", then "Finish".

This will fix your problem

I have application error 302

Introduction
Your Web server thinks that your URL has been temporarily redirected to another URL. The client system is expected to immediately retry the alternate URL.
302 errors in the HTTP cycle
Any client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) goes through the following cycle when it communicates with your Web server:
  • Obtain an IP address from the IP name of your site (your site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs).
  • Open an IP socket connection to that IP address.
  • Write an HTTP data stream through that socket.
  • Receive an HTTP data stream back from your Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information.
This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '302'.
Resolving 302 errors - general
The 302 response from your Web server should always include an alternative URL to which redirection should occur. If it does, a Web browser will immediately retry the alternative URL. So you never actually see a 302 error in a Web browser, unless perhaps you have a corrupt redirection chain e.g. URL A redirects to URL B which in turn redirects back to URL A. If your client is not a Web browser, it should behave in the same way as a Web browser i.e. immediately retry the alternative URL.
If the Web server does not return an alternative URL with the 302 response, then either the Web server sofware itself is defective or your Webmaster has not set up the URL redirection correctly.
Resolving 302 errors - CheckUpDown
Redirection of URLs may occur for low-level URLs (specific URLs within your Web site such as www.isp.com/products/index.html) when you reorganise your web site, but is relatively uncommon for the top-level URLs (such as www.isp.com) which most CheckUpDown users ask us to check. So this error should be fairly infrequent.
The 302 response from your Web server should always include an alternative URL to which redirection should occur. If it does, CheckUpDown automatically tries the alternative URL. This in turn may possibly lead to another redirection which CheckUpDown then tries. This continues for a maximum of 5 redirections. As soon as 5 redirections have occurred, CheckUpDown gives up and reports the 302 error for your account. So you should only ever see the 302 error if 1) your Web server gives no alternative URL on the 302 response or 2) the number of redirections exceeds 5. This second condition should be fairly unlikely - and may indicate a recursive pattern e.g. URL A redirects to URL B which in turn redirects back to URL A.
You first need to check that the IP name we use to check for your account is accurate. If you or your ISP have configured something so that any access using this name should now be redirected to another name, then you need to update your CheckUpDown account to start using the new name.
If you believe that the IP name we use is exact (should not be redirected), please try accessing the current URL using a Web browser. Note carefully which URL actually gets displayed, because your browser may silently switch to a substitute URL if it receives an 302 message from your Web server. If you see any evidence of a new URL, try accessing that directly from your browser. If this works (you see your Web site as expected), then this new URL is what you may need to update on your CheckUpDwon account. If this is a temporary redirection, then you may also need to reinstate the original IP name at a later date when the redirection is no longer effective.
If none of the above help, we can analyse the underlying HTTP data streams we receive from your Web server. These can provide additional information about the new URL(s) which your Web server thinks we should be accessing. Before doing this, we prefer you to identify any deliberate changes on your side, liaising with your ISP if needs be.
302 errors should occur infrequently, because top-level URLs do not change often. If they do change, then this is typically because a redirection URL is being suggested. This pervasive change is unlikely to occur by accident, so most often we can resolve this error by updating our system records for your account following a deliberate change of URL on your part, whether this change is temporary or permanent.

Every time i try to get on youtube it comes up.But when i click on my account it says 400 bad request. when i tryed to click on my friends video of gymnastics it says 400 bad request. Please Help Quick

Introduction
The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the data stream sent by the client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) was 'malformed' i.e. did not respect the HTTP protocol completely. So the Web server was unable to understand the request and process it.

It almost always means bad programming of the client system and/or the Web server.

400 errors in the HTTP cycle

Any client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) goes through the following cycle:
Obtain an IP address from the IP name of the site (the site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs).
Open an IP socket connection to that IP address.
Write an HTTP data stream through that socket.
Receive an HTTP data stream back from the Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information.

This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code it recognises as '400'.

Fixing 400 errors - general

There is a low-level program bug in the client or the Web server or both. If you do not have access to the source code for these systems, the only thing you can do is refer the problem to technical support people at the companies that developed the systems.

Fixing 400 errors - CheckUpDown

You should never see this error at all when you use our CheckUpDown service. It indicates that the two systems (our robot and the Web server) fundamentally disagree on the syntax of HTTP data streams.

Please contact us directly (email preferred) whenever you encounter 400 errors. Only we can resolve them for you. Unfortunately this may take some time, because we have to analyse the underlying HTTP data streams and may have to liaise with your ISP and the vendor of the Web server software to agree the exact source of the error.
