Re: 7100i WONT CHARGE
Thats unfortunate but in the world of electronics from ebay it's not unusual. It sounds like a dud battery or a power connection problem.
My suggestion would be to contact the seller and get them to replace the item or refund you. If the seller is not helpful and you paid via paypal, then you have upto 60 days to make a claim as 'item not as dscribed' to get your money back or a replacement.

try disconnecting the charger and disengage the battery..next, put the same battery on and charge it.if it doesn't work, insert your 8350 batt again.. if it the 8350 works, your new batt is defective., if not, you may have damaged your phone because 8350 is not the specified batt for your 7100..contact me if you have further questions. o9l8 45o 554sven. Its a software problem. You will have to reset the software. To do this you will need Blackberry Desktop Manager and your specific model (7100i) phone software which you should be able to download from your carriers web site. Once you download and install these two things, simply connect the phone to the computer, open desktop manager, click on application loader and update the unit.
I had this problem last year ... very annoying to say the least.
It turned out to be my battery, it's was saying charged but was not.
I know it sounds far fetched but try switching with someone elses battery, or grab a new one in the store to try for a minute. You may also be able to try using your phone while it is plugged in. If the battery is not too far gone this will work to prove the battery is the issue.
It worked for me and I have heard of others having the same success by switching batteries. The girl that figured this out for me told me these batteries are not meant to be charge for long periods of time, and that plugging the phone in as you go to bed is what was harming mine. This I can't back up, but she was on the money with my other problem so she may be right?
