Question about Tomtom GO 920 GPS Receiver
I bought a new cord and is still doing the same thing. The connection on the tomtom seems to be the problem. Where can I send it to be repaired. If I can keep the unit and the wire still, the light will remain on and it will charge, but when traveling, it keeps shutting off. It appears that the connection piece on the unit itself is the problem.
What causes a gps to keep shutting off in a car while the charging light is still on?
When I used it in another car, it does not do that, so I would like to know what's in the car that causes that? Thanks.

If its still under warranty, get it repaired.. it sounds like hardware problem. Of course, you'll need to contact TT for repair options.
