How much water goes in the steamer? Not the rice bowl.

Good afternoon to you!
If I remember correctly, from my rice cooker days, then the measurements are inside the bowl.
Mine was hard to see but I saw them . The measurement was in cups.

Where do i add the water

A rice cooker is designed to heat the water to steam, infusing the rice (or vegetables) with moisture, and removing the excess water by evaporation. Your rice cooker may or may not have come with a steam tray (used to keep the items you want to steam out of the water, but still allow them to heat via the steam). It most likely did come with a deep bowl with a non-stick coating. This is where you pour the rice and the water. Make sure to put the lid on and turn it on when all ingredients are inside the nonstick bowl. Place the bowl inside the electric burner (or the cooker). I would add a little bit of oil to the water to improve texture and stickiness.

I don't have the cup that goes with my Hitachi rice cooker. Using a regular cup, how much water for each cup of rice?

I suggest that after you wash the rice on your rice cooker bowl level it and measure the height of your rice using your hand finger ( middle finger ) then that is also the water you need. but put the water slowly to maintain the level of the rice because this is also you guide to level it. I mean. 1. wash your rice. 2. level it ( the rice ) inside the bowl of rice cooker and measure the height of your rice by using your hand finger ( the middle finger ) and remember it. 3.put the water slowly, and your hand finger should be from the top of your rice to measure the height of your water. I hope you understand me!\ just try it because this is the way that how to cook the rice even any kind of bowl.

DO YOU PUT WATER IN THE MAIN COOKER BODY BEFORE PUTTING THE ALUMINIUM BOWL WITH RICE AND WATER INTO.I HAVE SR-928 PANASONIC ELECTRIC RICE COOKER.

I do not think you would add water to the cooker. You simply add water and rice to the bowl.
Mine works great. I put 2 cups water and 1 cup rice.I add a tad of salt and olive oil. I cover the lid. set that into the cookerI press the lever. When the rice is done the lever pops up like a toaster. Note. Unplug the cooker when rice is done. that is how mine works. I would be willing to bet it is how yours works too.
