Question about Brother PE770 Computerized Sewing Machine

Open Question

Brother pe770 F06

Our brother pe770 starts to beep and displays "F06 NP Sensor Break". The only way to continue is to turn off the machine and turn it back on. It happens many times whether you are sewing or not. We checked the needle and for jammed thread.

SOURCE: Error message on Brother SE-270D sewing machine

The safety device will activate if the machine has a bind or is unable to run at correct speed. If you turn the handwheel is it tight/hard to turn? if it is than thats it. Now what is binding the machine has to be diagnosed.

Model PE770. Why does the needle keep getting stuck and the hand "crank" is really hard to turn?

could be a timing problem or a broken part, if the problem continues the machine needs to be checked

What does this error message mean?

Dear BreeAnn,

I would reboot the machine. That means. Turn it off pull the plug and restart or cold Boot Strap. Further open your manual and look for a factory reset. Remove the disc if it came with one and reinstall it.

Save all your creations to file if special programs are developed before the new startup. Manually assist the machine through a hand cycle. Moreover, check to see if all the e-stops are satisfied. That means switches stuck open or closed.

Blow out dust from working areas. It appears from a remote view. Having worked fine. It is a matter of oversight. I hope you get back into creating soon.

My brother PE770 will not turn on what can be wrong with it

Check that the cord is plugged all the way in at the machine. It's easy to have it look like it was plugged in but it's not really seated properly. Also if you have it plugged into a extension cord check that the strip is turned on or if it has a reset button push it and try again.

Brother pe-770 f05 speed sensor error - How to fix?

F05 error, speed sensor. I fixed successfully 2 of those. Speed sensor is located on a small board, under a protective plastic, located over the main front board. Remove front panel and bobin winder assembly. Remove the 2 screws of the small board. Remve CAREFULLY the small bord. Under, on the main shaft, are located the needle positionning sensors and the wheel of the speed sensor (left wheel on the shaft). The speed sensor is located on the board itself, it's very small. Clean carefully both the wheel and the sensor with Q-Tips and alchool, reassemble the whole thing and it should restart.
While U are there, take a thin nozzle oiler and lubrificate all the suppots of upper and lower shaft, all the needle bar mechanism and rotary hook central shaft and gears WITH VERY THICK oil. Needle bas assembly is the most critical point. I have 14 of those machines, almost all of those seized there before I learn how to lubrificate it. Also seized on the bottom shaft and on rotary hook pin
