These are actually diagnostic error messages indicating that some functionality within the camera has failed. Therefore the camera needs to be sent in for repair service. You may want to call Olympus Customer Service to discuss their repair process and procedures. Their telephone number is 800-622-6372 option 2 and then option 3.

Lines in tape playback


Someone here recommended taping with the lense cap on in a quiet room for 5-10 minutes. When I played it back, no more skipping or gray lines. This worked for me!!!!
