Main oven element probably needs replacing, usualy they only last about 4-5 years depending on usage, fairly cheap to replace, around 15 pounds for the part, fairly easy job for diy enthusiast, or no more than 30 mins work for a appliance repair person. On most ovens, first isolate the oven for safety at the double pole switch outlet. open oven , remove all shelves etc, look for a metal cover at the back which covers the fan and element, usualy two or three screws on the cover to remove, behind cover you see the element and fan, remove two screws on the element mounting plate and carefully pull out with the wires, carefully pull off the two connectors on the element, connect new element and fit in reverse procedure of above.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
This indicates oven temp failure and to check if that is bad then check the sensor for around 1100ohms, if it is more then that then it is the temperature sensor, if it tests fine then it is the electronic control board that is bad and needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Please can anyone help our fan oven has tripped the fuse box. The fan is on but not heating up

Fan runs on 115 volts. Heating element runs on 220. The heating element is tripping only one of the two breakers. If you have a volt meter unplug the power cord and measure the voltage at the plug.. If you don't find 240 volts on the two outer blades of the plug, replace the circuit breaker in the panel.

Simpson Harmony Nova electric oven heating problems (oven heats but no fan and light)

The Fan has ,in most cases, two functions - to maintain the oven temp and to clear any condensate or smoke coming from items being cooked. If your oven is over heating it could be the thermostat sensor faulty and giving a faulty reading to the fan. If you set you oven at 350F then sensors control the heat by kicking the heating elements off and in some models and makes the fan aids cool down. Make sure it is at a temperature that would trigger the fan to cool it down. It mostly relies on the regulation of the heating elements to control the temp. Only if it were to get hotter than the elements kicking off can control should the fan kick on. Not being at the site and actually seeing the stove it is hard to determine but if the fan is working every where else it should work when the oven is heating. Again check and see if there is a seperate sensor that monitors the temp of the over and triggers the fan. Not much help but that's where I would look first. Hope this was of some help.

How do I use this oven? Is it working correctly?

It would seem that the oven is small enough that a fan to flow the heat from the unit would be in use for both convection and bake modes. Usually convection ovens will have a "burst" of fan action during the bake process and it is not a steady fanning of the air that would dry out your cookies, ect. I have a small oven / microwave and my larger oven is a GE that has the "burst" convection that I described. Might not be that much help, but it's hard without more info on your unit. sometimes the model is behind the oven door.

Oven not heating

Hello.
If the fan is working, but there is no heat, then it is the fan oven element that needs to be replaced.
It has nothing to do with timer on this occasion.
Remove panel at rear of oven compartment, there you will see the round element.
Undo fixing screws, and remove element, disconnect leads and fit onto new element, refit new elemrnt, replace cover, and job done!!!

Please leave a fixya rating for my solution.
Thankyou

Temp display shows 444

If everything on your B1691N0GB oven seems to be working, i.e. all the lights are on and fan comes on in fan oven setting, but there is no heat from fan oven, conventional oven or grill, try turning your oven off at the mains, then turn on again. If the temperature display then shows 444, your oven is locked. To unlock, make sure the central control knob is in the "out" position, then press the fan oven and light buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds or so, until 333 appears on the display. Your oven is now unlocked.
