The stand by timer flash 9 times stop and start again

I went to a website and it says this:

Nine blinks - Panel Module Error or Thermal Error. If it is intermittent 9 blinks, meaning sometimes the TV comes on and other times you get flashing, then change the switching regulator. Make sure the part number is -12 or -13.

Basically ,this is what happen sometimes it turn on and sometimes I get the flashing thing (9 blinks) and it takes up to 5 days to get my tv on again.

Can I get a better idea what's going on with my sony tv.
