You just need to add more Ram Memory, nathancarol7.

What is the Compaq Presario's model number? It's on the Bottom of the laptop in a white Service Tag. P/N = Product Number, and the number I need. Post back in a Comment.

Then I can show you the Ram Memory module/s ('Stick'), it uses, and can guide you in installing.

General example of a SO-DIMM ram memory module, as used in a laptop,

SOURCE: replace ram memory on compaq laptop

there is a small door on the bottom of the laptop that will have a small icon by it that resembles a ram chip. There is a screw that you take out and then the memory is visible. There are 2 metal clips on each side of the memory chip these clips are to be pulled outward at the same time and gently lift up on the memory chip. then it will slide right out.

SOURCE: Do all compaq presario cq60 have a memory slot?

It has a memory card slot (left-side towards the front), but your particular memory card might be too big for the slot. There are several different variations of memory cards out now. Of course the newer the variation, the smaller that card is. This laptop is fairly new so it might not be compatible with your memory card. Does your camera have a USB cable for transferring pictures? If so, then just use that.

Compaq presario v6700 i wanna knaw if it got extra spot for outer video card???

To my understanding this a laptop/netbook.

You 100% do not have a slot for a video card. These low-medium end laptops all have built in video memory to the motherboard. They are not replaceable.

Only high end laptops have discreet video graphics that are separate, even then I do not believe they are replaceable, they simply use separate memory.

COMPAQ LAPTOP MAMORY EXTEND

This laptop has 2 slots
Each memory slot can hold DDR PC2700 with a maximum of 512MB per slot.
So maximum memory supported is 1GB.
If you install more memory there is a high probability it will not be recognised.

You can get more information and order memory from the link below:

Can I increase Maximum Memory for 1800T?

No, The reason why your computer says it has lower memory is because either

A- your bios can only recognize up to 320mb. --possible fix via upgrading/flashing your bios --check manufacturer's website.
B- your on board video card shares memory with the system.
