Try taking some double sided sticky foam and putting it on the battery, and then using it to pull the battery out. You might have to drill a small hole in the battery, and then put a small eye screw (like you would use to hang a picture frame) in the hole. Then you can pull the battery out. This would ruin the battery, but it would be better than breaking the camera.
