First try unplugging it and plugging it back in. If that doesn't work try going to device manger and see if it is picking it up if it isn't you probably need a new keyboard. If there is a yellow exclamation point try re-installing it's drivers.

My keyboard doesn't work after logging in to the os win XP....

did it work?
What has changed?
Try staring in safe mode to see if it works
If you have a wireless keyboard, then check the batteries and push the connect button.
If it did work and stopped working, start in safe mode and do a system restore back to when it was working.

The side keys of my internet keyboard stopped functioning after switching on to XP from Vista. Please help me to get it work

this is because the drivers for your keyboard is not installed in Xp... In vista, by default you will have advanced drivers, as far as xp is concerned you will have only basic drivers... so u need to download the additional drivers for your keyboard from the manufacturer site...

My keyboard OFTEN stops working. I have to reboot

Try changing the keyboard, see if that helps. Key boards are fairly cheap. You failed to mention the Operating System. Win xp, home,
Win 7..??? You might also try updating drivers. To do that, go to Start, control panel, device manager, keyboards, right click and then click update driver. Hope this helps.

I have a kvm switch vista lap and xp desktop stopped working

I've gone through alot of KVM switches. Something in the electronics just gives up. If your keyboard and mouse are the pci type (round connector) then don't switch their locations while the computers are on. Windows won't see the change and you may damage the system. If thy're USB type then switching is OK.

Toshiba satellite touchpad & keyboard stopped working

As I understand your keyboard is now working and your usb mouse. But the touchpad does not work.

Have you or someone opened up your laptop recently? If so it is possible the touchpad was not connected properly.

Can you please post the exact name of your laptop. I'll see what else I can figure out for you.

Need a driver 4 belkin_f8e207_keyboard

This keyboard is really out of date and belkin has stopped publishing the drivers on their website. have the original Win95, Win98 drivers though, but it will not work in Windows XP...
Instead you can use third party software like the free keytweak
