Question about Roper RGX4634KQ Gas Dryer
Posted on Nov 27, 2012
Dryers don't have a capacitor they use a cent switch to get going. When you press start you energize the cent sitch in the motor. When it gets full blast weights mounted inside move the cent switch and release the power from the start wire to the run wire inside the motor. Why does it do it? 2 windings kick it into gear one drops out when she gets up to speed. Clever aint it?
