Try reinstalling the software for the dvd player or update the drivers. Also make sure your media player is up to date and you have the latest codec package installed.

Nakamichi cd cassette player 1 not spinning discs

There's a Music Bank 7-disc player in use in my bedroom these days. Nice unit, but they used to come in for service once in a while- from what I could tell, these units don't 'park' the CD drawers on a soft power off- they simply shut down. When powered up again, they sometimes let the disc last in play slide off the tray & jam the machine. I've had no issues, as long as I always hit stop, wait for it to park, and then shut off. The analog output's sound has been very good (has a coax out as well).

2007 azera cd won't play & willnot eject or load cd's

Odds are the electronics inside the audio unit (head) have malfunctioned. There is only one way to check/verify this. The passenger compartment Fuse/Relay box has a power bar (shunt fuse) yellow in color. Pull this fuse out (not all the way out). Wait 60 seconds then reinsert (push back in) to reset the Audio (Radio) unit. Recheck the CD functions (load/eject). If the same problem recurs, then it's the audio unit/head which has malfunctioned. The typical repair is replace the audio unit.

My Xbox 360 fell over and now the disc has a ring around it will not play!! I've tried everything and the disc just won't play.

You will probably have to get a new copy of your disk, but there is one other option that is worth a try. If you can find a "CD Repair Kit", try running your disk through that and then see if it will play. A CD Repair kit uses a clear resin to fill in scratches on the surface of a disk, removing the reason that the disk will not play. It does not always work, but a CD repair kit is much cheaper than re-buying a game you have already spent money on. try this one:
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&sugexp=ldymls&xhr=t&q=cd+repair+kit&cp=10&qe=Q0QgUmVwYWlyIA&qesig=xwNELoNXZWL51NsEp4qaDQ&pkc=AFgZ2tmN04my0ZH7YSJ8Bm2TbmKLmrTNSO4UralGK__lMqTX9gVtI2mRc3n9Qafuq5pUbu-BnQewzPJ-QN9PQ14ScYAY8N9Lhg&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1024&bih=650&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=16739641775731144756&sa=X&ei=6wHfTc_VNIi_gQfCyczPCg&sqi=2&ved=0CDAQ8wIwAA
This should be able to help you repair your disk. The best part of buying this is that you can use it on any disks that you have that skip or do not play. It will not ALWAYS work, but it is worth a shot -- especially if you spent $50 or more on the disk in the first place.

Will not work, will not play or load cd;s will not light up and need manua l

If it won't light up you have a blown fuse probably. Check the one under the small black cap (about the size of a penny) in the bottom corner of the amp. The cap twists 90 degrees and pops out to reveal the fuse.
