I could not find that model number computer. There are a couple things you can do:

1) Power down. Remove the power cable. Press and hold the Power On button until the fans stop. Look on your computer motherboard to see if you have PWRD RES pins. This will be 3 pins with a jumper on 2 of them. If the jumper is on pins 1 & 2, place it on pins 2 & 3. If it is on 2 & 3, move it to 1 & 2. Reboot the computer. The password will be reset. Shut it down and move the jumper back to where it was. Not all motherboards have these. If not proceed below.

2) You can take the CMOS battery out for a few minutes. First remove the power cable from the computer. Press and hold the Power On button until the fans stop spinning. (BTW, this discharges the capacitors on the board.) Ground yourself to the case. Pop the battery out for a few minutes. Snap it back in. Connect the power cable. Turn it on. You will need to hit F2 (or whatever key is for your setup) and configure your BIOS for your hardware.

If you are not familiar with working on the inside components or setting up the BIOS, please seek some professional advice from a local computer repair shop.

Pull the CMOS Battery off of the motherboard and let it sit out for a couple hours.  The CMOS battery looks like a large watch battery.  Reseat the CMOS Battery and give that a try.

I cant remember my login password and f8 does not work in safe mode still asking the password

Once you assign a password to your HP computer's BIOS configuration utility, you will need to enter that password every time you attempt to access the BIOS.
If you forget this password, don't fret there is still a way to unlock your BIOS without actually knowing the original user defined password.
This involves using a "backdoor" password, which is something that is installed onto your BIOS at the factory level that never changes.

Turn on your HP computer.
Press "F2" to load your HP BIOS access screen.
A password prompt will load on your monitor.
Type "merlin" into the password field (with no quotes) and hit your "Enter" keyboard key to unlock your HP BIOS password.

Cant remerber bios password on presario A900 laptop and cant unplug internal battery

Step 1:
Acer laptops are equipped with a BIOS utility. The BIOS (which stands for "Basic Input Output System") acts as an interface between the hardware and software installed on the computer. On some computers, a BIOS password may be required in order to boot the computer and make changes to the BIOS settings. If you are unable to access the BIOS settings and do not know how to reset the BIOS password, you might be tempted to send the computer back to the manufacturer for repair. Fortunately, that's not necessary as there is a simple way to do this on your own.

Go to "Start," then perform a search for "Command Prompt." The Windows Start button is located in the lower-left corner of your computer screen. Double-click on "Command Prompt" to open the application. You will need to use MS-DOS commands to reset the BIOS password. Type the following commands one by one in the order shown: debug o 70 2E o 71 FF quit Make sure that you are typing the letter "o" and not a zero at the beginning of the second and third commands. Reboot your computer by clicking "Start," "Shutdown," and then "Restart." The BIOS password will now be reset to default.

I have a acer laptop and i cant remember the password at all. how can i fix the problem at home ?

I'm assuming the password is for your windows login and not a BIOS password.
You can try a reinstall but if you haven't backed up your system you may loose your data.
You can also check out this site for free windows password recovery tools:

Unable to remember password for erecovery for Acere Aspire T690

There is usually a 3 pin jumper near a coin type battery. The setting the umper is on know is nrm ( normal ) and the position to move it to is rst or bios or something like that. Putting that jumper on that position will clear out your BIOS and take away passwords ( normally ) there are some who use a jumper specifically for clearing password. This is rare but look in your manual anyhow.
The jumper should be moved for about 30 sec. then put back where it was nrm or it won't boot up. You will now have to set your date and time and any other things you've changed in BIOS. Voila. Remember not to password things again.

Can't remember password

BIOS password remove alternatives:

1. Reset Password BIOS via Backdoor BIOS Password.
2. Reset Password BIOS via Software.
3. Reset Password BIOS via hardware.
4. Reset Password BIOS via default manufacturers.

OK, here is my guide to Remove Acer Bios password computer via Software. This has been done on testing machine Laptop Acer Aspire 3620/ Travel Mate 2420. Anyway, I'm not sure it will work on every Acer PC/Laptop so just consider to do at your own risk, I’m not responsible for any damages caused by this guide.

As we know most of Acer computer (Laptop & Desktop) allow us to setup BIOS in Microsoft Windows (9x/XP/Vista) environment. Great, this is the powerful that help us to remove the BIOS password cuz all we know if we enter Setup Utility at the boot time we have only three times of filling the password and if all wrong then the system will halt.
The program helps us to enter Acer BIOS setup in Microsoft Windows is “Acer eSettings Management” which comes with the CD when we buy Acer PC/Laptop. If you lost the CD then just come to Acer website to download the program.

CAN OPEN MY PC

I'm not sure if you are physically trying to close  your pc, or if you have only set a BIOS password, have forgot it, and need to reset it.  If you have forgotten the BIOS password, you will need to reset the CMOS (BIOS) in order to access the BIOS and change your boot order.
Please provide the make and model of your PC, and I will post instructions on how to reset the password :)

A bios password has been set and i cant remember it, how do i remove it or get into my system Mark

Open up the side of the case. You should see three headers, with a jumper on the first two. It should be labeled something like cmos or something like that. Remove the jumper, and switch it so that is is covering the last two. Then, remove it again and put it back. That should reset the BIOS to defaults, including the password. If you cannot find the jumper, remove the battery from the motherboard for a period of time (I'd try 24 hours just to be safe). When you replace the battery, it should reset the password.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya. Thank you.
