Question about Dell 924 All-in-One InkJet Printer
I was printing some stuff out, when I was about to make a test print, which I have done in the past, I put in a thinner type of paper which is the test paper. Again, I have done this before and it has worked fine. That paper got really jammed inside. I followed the troubleshooting instructions on Dell, but that is not helping. I stuck my fingers inside from the back of the scanning part, I felt a piece where I pressed down and I hear the paper, but I can not get to it.
The jam is very deep inside and I do not know how to get to it. I see screws all around the printer, I attempted to unscrew the ones in the back of the printer which are three, but that didin't help either. At this point I do not know what to do. It's super hard to get through to Dell, so this is my last resort right now.
I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy
paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print
button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it
will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I
have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud
