Question about Microwave Ovens
Our microwave stopped working. Power for clock, lights, and fan is working. However, when we try to microwave something a message appears 'Sensor Error, Close Door.' The door is closed, and we've trying all the troubleshooting tips in the book. Turn off power, reset clock, etc. Nothing appears to be interfering with the door. Is there something else to check? If not something we can repair, can be fixed for less than the cost of a new one? Thanks for any help. Purchased 1/2004, 1000 watts
If you are handy take it apart. Somewhere inside is a small switch that the door activates. Switch might be broken or a small plastic actuator might be broken. What do you have to lose at this point except time?
