Question about Whirlpool LGR6611L Gas Dryer
Replacing motor on LGR6611LQ0 and trying to figure out how to remove the fan from the shaft without breaking it. Motor # is #279827. Tried to turn shaft while holding the fan still. Motor will not fit through back panel. And no, having a 3rd tech come out to work on it isn't a choice. Thanks in advance.
Ok corvett your there you just jumped one step..put the motor back and put the 2 motor clips back on,,,ok,,,,now you need to hold the belt side with a tool a grip pliers,,a wrectet head with handle turn which ever tool handle so it will hit the side of the cabnit the right side looking from front,,now wedge that tool..be careful go behind ,,put on worh gloves a must the side of blower wheel housing are sharp..caution got your gloves on,,now turn it to the left not the right,,counter clock wise..onthejob
