Question about Microtek ScanMaker 4900 Flatbed Scanner
I have a Microtek ScanMaker 4900 Flatbed Scanner. It has worked beautifully since I got it, but when I moved it the other day and reset it up in another room... I now have issues with it not wanting to scan at all. The computer verifies that it sees the scanner. It has power and is hooked up correctly (USB). When I ask it to scan all I get is an error -143. The machine sees the computer because I have tested the programmable buttons and when I choose the button that is to scan, once again all I get is a -143. I took it apart and cleaned it, making sure all pieces were connected (thought maybe something came loose)... Any ideas as to what this error means or how to fix it?
The microtek scanmaker 4900 green light won't come on. it is connect.
