Question about Toshiba (P000352520) Sound Card

Im having trouble with my labtop, i have done all the updateds, and still i am unable to hear any sound coming from the labtop, i think it is a driver or controller problem, can you please help this is very important

Please confirm make and model of operating system. If it is XP, then it is worth removing the hardware and restarting. You do this from Start,Control Panel , Add hardware.
Tell me if this helps.Then reboot and it should start by detecting the hardware and finding the droivers which you have.

There is problem in my labtop i do not know why ?? but i press on system restore and put before three days and make restart and solve the problem but after i open the labtop may 1 hour i problem come back...


Sounds like a Virus Saifissa probably a rouge virus that attacks drivers, the reason why the problem comes back is because system restore will not fix virus issues, its just a temporary fix. Try downloading malwarebytes at http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
Install and update Malwarebytes then run a quick scan and remove the infection. Then I would visit your manufacture website of your computer and download and reinstall your sound card driver. Hope this helps and please keep me posted and let me know if i can help in anyway.

I cannot hear any microphone playback


I cannot hear any microphone playback 2) Installing the driver software for it takes sound out of my computer my microphone seems to be fine because the green light comes on when i test it, but no playback in speaker when i record. I know im jus missing one little thing...can you help me?

you will probably have to update the drivers to your sound card. So look for the company that made your sound card go to their site and they should allow you to update it. But if that doesnt work it might just be because of your speakers

Im using acer TM 244 FL and unable to download the audio drivers.


Acer has a program available to download updated drivers. I have not tried it but it should do the trick. You'll find it at

Audio not playing


Download Microsoft UAA drivers Uninstall any sound drivers already installed reboot then install the UAA drivers and reboot
The when rebooted go to device manager right click sound and update driver will go on net and find and install sound drivers

This works in 95% of cases
please give me a fixya when done thanks

Go to run
type services.msc
look for Windows Audio under the Services Menu.
Right-click it and click 'Start'

Is the outgoing sound dampened? You can go to:

Start -> Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices (or something similar) and choose Advanced Volume Control.

You can also doubleclick the speaker icon next to your systemclock on the bottom right of your screen.

In Advanced Volume Control, make sure the correct soundcard is selected. If not go to Options -> Properties and select the correct one over at Mixer device.

Anyhow. Make sure that the sliders for outgoing sound don't have the "Dampened" checkbox checked.
