It may very well be frozen. Some of those fridges have problems with the line freezing because of the way the line runs. The one way to tell would be to empty fridge, unplug, and let sit to thaw. Opening freezer/fridge doors will shorten the process. You can Google your exact model number also, and find out how your lines run and use a hair dryer on that location.

There is an O ring that will leak water into the overflow pan under the fridge. I'd clean the pan too to eliminate bad odors. You must shut off the water supply before changing the filter element. There is no shut off valve built into the filter or its housing.
As insignificant as it may seem, that evap fan motor is as important as petrol in a car. That fan controls the fridge cooling on many fridges and circulation in tha freezer compartment. Replace it with the correct one and you should see a functional fridge/ freezer again. Note, i wouldnt run unit without it for long, as condensig temperatures run high and compressors dont last long.
is possible that the plastic tube that leeds in the pan is obstructed or in a wrong position, check if water goes in the pan just put some water trought from the inside hole in the fridge and check if it reach the pan, maybe the inclination of the fridge is not sufficient, ( it has to be inclined to the wall direction so the water slides on the back inside wall of the fridge. can also be poor insulation of the fridge, so the outside surfaces come wet because of the hight air temperature outside and the cold surfaces of the fridge, then the water slides down the floor...make sure about air ventilation around the fridge!...I hope it was useful!
You probably will have to replace the water filter housing that holds the water filter. This is an relatively easy job and should only take about 30 min. The housing will cost around $40-$50 online or from your appliance store. Turn off the water to the fridge. Take the top shelf out of the fridge to access the water filter area. There is a small screw in a really deep hole on the bottom of the cover, just to the right of the filter cup. I used a really small socket (9/32",1/4" or 9mm - can't remember) and extention. Take out the screw which will uncover the housing. The water hoses (white) just slip onto the housing - check these to verify if they are on tight. If they are loose this is the water leak. if they are on tight (which I'm sure they are) then proceed. Take off the filter cup which is screwed onto the housing. Remember "righty tighty - lefty loosy". Take another small screw (maybe two) out which holds the housing to the refrigerator. Now pull the water hoses off the housing. This is kinda tuff because the hoses are just slid on to the housing and are held on by friction only and its hard to get a good grasp because of the location of the unit. You can't really stick much under the hoses to pry them off either because if you damage them, they won't hold the seal later. Just pull and twist and they should come off. Visually inspect the housing unit, you should be able to see a crack if there is one. Replace if necessary. Just make sure not to overtighten the screws and especially the filter cup when reinstalling. Good luck and I hope this helps.
