- I have had the same problem. My machine has gone through about 6 of the crema control filters in the last 2.5 years, with my last one breaking 2 days ago (out came the trusty 10 year old stove top). I was getting spare baskets from where I purchased the machine from but they don't stock Briel products anymore. I would like to know what other branded or generic filter baskets would fit as the crema filter is a bit of a waste of time really and just will keep breaking.- mudgeontour
