Make sure the hold is off, then push the center button and menu button simultaneously and hold for about 10 seconds. This should reset your ipod.

Hope this helps!

I have an i-pod nano that seems to be locked. Screen stuck on 'connected' eject before disconnecting and cannot get to change

Depending on the model you can try toggling the hold switch on and off a few times, or holding the menu, select and play buttons together and waiting 10-12 seconds.

When I had the problem I just left it until it died. After it died I plugged it back in and it connected and after charging I disconnected it and it worked fine.

Need to turn off i pod

Hold the lock and home button for 10 seconds, or hold the lock button after the iPod is unlocked and than slide the power tab that comes up over. Or let the iPod die.

Hope this helps ^^. Please dont forget to rate, Thanks

I pod is frozen in Synchronizing plugged in and out and back into

Have you already attempted to reset the iPod?
If not you will want to attempt that as your first step towards resolving this issue.
To do so you will need to simply press and hold both the center and menu buttons for at least ten seconds or until the apple icon appears on the screen.
If this does not resolve your issue please do let me know.
Also in the future if the iPod seems to be frozen on the do not disconnect screen, shut down the computer and reset the iPod before disconnecting it. Improper disconnection can cause hardware corruption.

My i pod wheel has frozen. None of the buttons work on my Ipod only the hold button when it is slides across causing the screen to light up. The i pod is 60gb and has not been dropped or exposed to...

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

That should get rid of the freeze.
If your unproperly disconnecting the ipod from your computer before the itunes
sofware disconnects it for you, then that could be your problem with the freeze ups.

I Pod 4 Gb

Just charge the battery until the indicator says the battery is full.
well since its been connected for more than enought, disconnect it, you can also try reseting the ipod incase it has frozen

To reset your iPod:
  • 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  • 2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Tip:
  • If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
  • If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

My Ipod is frozen

OK what you need to do is reset it. To do this you will need to hold down the menu and select buttons simultaneously for approx 6 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen. This should reset and un freeze your ipod.

Try this and let me know how you get on.
