This is not a fun task but can be done first you have to remove the door then remove the ice dispenser from the door cover/levers etc... just a couple of screws. the on the bottom of the door in the tubing. Tape (electrical tape is best) a piece of wire clothes hanger inside the old tube and inside the new one then fish it thru the door this may take a few times and may require some one to help you but if the hole is over 2 inces from the door and you can cut it out they make a quick coupler to repair the tubing with just a knife and your fingers.try that and let me know how it goes

Water dispenser leaks out bottom of door when I dispense water.

Sounds like a small hole in the plastic water tube inside the door. It is a replaceable part but you may need to remove the freezer door to do that. The old tube should come out the bottom near the hinge area. The new tube is then pushed up inside the same hole. There is usually a plastic conduit in the door for the plastic tube to follow. Here is the part number I found for the new plastic tube.
W10277960 about $42 to $45 depending on part store.

We an LG side by side refrigerator. There is water leaking from the bottom of the freezer door.

Freezer /fridge water/ice in fridge and or freezer

Usually due to CONDENSATION due to bad door seals or a plugged evaporator drain line? Can use a soft flexable tubing and very hot water to clean it out. Bad door seals usually need replacement, but u can use a blow dryer and something to pry it closer to the door wall while blowing hot air on to it. To create a seal, to test for bad door seals place a dollar bill in between the door and wall of fridge where it closes. Then slide out the dollar bill with door closed. It should offer some resistance and not be easy to pull out.
Most all fridges have a drain. Look inside your fridge for a "V" shaped channel with a small hole. This hole leads to a tube and a small pan which sits on top of your refrigerator's compressor. The defrost cycle causes water to run into the channel, down the tube, and then it generally evaporates with the heat of the hot condenser/compressor.
However, if that tube is clogged with food crumbs, particles , debris etc, you will have to clear it to get back to a normal mode of operation. A toothpick, pipecleaner, straw or a cotton bud can often do the trick. Another trick one can use is to connect a copper tube wire with one end going into the drain hole then attach the other end to the heater wrap it around heater a few times. That will take care of the drain problem when it comes to ice build up but not food build up.
Even a frost free freezer will still ice up at times in the areas away from the heated defrost area and the drain line can freeze. This icing causes the pipe work to the compressor to ice over or sweat and cause a puddle. Or if the drainage has frozen over, it will need to be de-iced. ( usually the line is under the freezer bottom plate covering. Towards the back of the unit) And there is another inside the fridge area also.
Give the freezer a good overnight defrost until it's totally clear of ice in addition to making sure the drain is clear to the pan at the back and then restart the freezer.
God is so good: so this is why I give free advice so please thank him not me.

No water from dispenser and ice

you can disconnect the water line on the bottom of the door behind the kick panel then test the water dispencer if water comes out of the line then there is a blockage of frozen water in the tube in the door.make usr eto disconnect the water line coupler completely
if no water comes out then there is a chance the main water supply valvle is bad. in rare occassions the water lines inside the fridge can freeze.ice in the door can be defrosted by using a blow dryer and blowing air inot the bottom and top of the tube however this process takes some time.sometimes using a long piece of weed eater line and pushing it through the tube can sometimes free up the ice as well this als take alot if time.

Hot point model hss25gfp. can get water at coupling but not out of door dispencer . ice maker works fine. When coupling is disconnected and water is depressed water flows fine from the coupling.

The water line is frozen in the door .Turn on the dispenser light for several hours , or , use a hair dryer aimed up into the dispenser , or , use compressed air in the tube going up into the bottom of the door ( computer cleaning bottle with a small tube ) , or , air compressor hose at the bottom of the door tube , or , order GE dispenser heater kit pt # WR49X10173 ( it comes with instructions ) . After you get it working , turn up ( warmer ) the freezer temp only slightly .

Leak from bottom of fridge

Two things might be happening. One is the line to the fridge is leaking, this line come thru the floor or wall to the bottom and hooks up to a water valve, it may just need tightening. The other problem is you will have a hose that runs from the filter down in behind the crisper drawers to the bottom and coils up here to hold water for cold use. it then runs thru the bottom pan out to the front, to the bottom door hinge on the freezer side up the door to the dispencer. Check along the hose for a pin hole look at the bottom hinge area first, things bump into it here and can damage the plastic cover.

George I have an amana side by side. . .

There is a plastic fitting ( a splicer) that connects a plastic tube that runs into the hinge of the door to a larger tube that goes back into the water filter (if equipped) or up into a shut off valve. It has two plastic nuts that connect to a threaded piece in the middle. It may be that this is just loose or missing. You can get them at any harware store normally. Measure the larger tube and take the smaller tube

If you don't see a tube running from a hole in the hinge of the door that has the water statioin (normally the freezer) then read on. . .

Most likely the tube has been severed. If the tube isnt visible coming from the hinge in the freezer door, then it's possible severed and retracted back inside. this is what happened to me. To replace the tube in the door with a longer piece, you must remove the faceplate of the water station. First you carefully pry off any switch plates for the cubed/crushed switch and then carefully remove the plastic faceplate around the outside edges with a plastic paint scraper or small screw driver. Normally they snap into the water station. Be careful not to damage the plastic clips that keep them. Next you will may have to remove a metal plate to expose the tube that dispenses the water. You must find the end of the water tube and remove any clip or fitting that holds it in place. Pull the tube all the way out and you may see that the end was severed. You will need to replace this piece with a longer section available at any hardware store. I would get one at least a foot longer to ensure that you can trim to fit. Begin to insert the new tube by going into the hole in the bottom of the door first (the one in the hinge) and pushing the plastic tube until it emerges at the water station. finish by replacing the clip on the end that emerges so it looks about the same as it did before. Trim the bottom so the tubes meet together before you replce the splicer.

Again, if the plastic splicer fitting on that connected the two tubes together (one tube is larger than the other) is missing, you can get this piece at the hardware store.

Hope this works!

Frigidaire leaking

the drain in the freezer compartment is frozen up you can remove all items from lower freezer and remove access panel on back of freezer compartment pick the ice out of the drain hole with a small screwdriver DO NOT USE SCREWDRIVER AROUND THE ALUMINUM COILS! once all ice is gone that you can see use hairdryer to blow into hole on medium heat. once it looks like it is gone take a small 1/4 plastic tubing and push down the hole to try to clear obstructions then run hot water down hole. if it still doesnt drain take rear access panel off of compressor area (back of refrig) look for drain hose and remove clamp take off and clean u might try this first. but you will have to remove ice from drain.

Water leaking from freezer

Check for a blocked defrost drain. Take the panel off at the back of the freezer section and find the small hole at the very bottom center below the cooling coils. Use hot (but not boiling) water and a turkey baster to flush it out until water runs through it. (it will go into the defrost drain pan, where it will evaporate)
This will prevent water from comming out the freezer door and leaking onto your floor and running down your copper pipe to the basement.

Texas, sounds like your water reservoir is frozen up. Remove your 2 cripser drawers, you will see the reservoir behind them. Take a hair dryer and go over the tank and tubing ends. See if the water starts flowing. I find a lot of frozen water reservoirs on these french door models. They have a insulation kit for them. Catriver.
