Goes in the back, similar to other electronics, there's a spot to use your finger to slide the panel out and install a AAA batery, sort of like the 1950's transistor radios but AAA instead of 9V.

Not charging and will not turn on

My son's PSP 2001 had the same problem if it was not in a hard case--the battery wouldn't charge and the PSP would not turn on. All we could figure was that something inside the battery area was loose and the snap-on case held the battery in place better. Try putting the battery in and holding the battery cover on firmly with your hand. If it charges and/or turns on while you're holding it like that, you might want to buy a case to sort of hold it together better. I think they loosen up over time and useage.

Gauges don't work, battery goes dead, ignition changed, battery changed, alternator changed problems presists

Charge battery, start engine, then touch the small terminal on the altenator momentarily with a jumper lead from the hot terminal on the alt. Charge light should go out and batery should be getting a charge. why it does that i still can't figure it out, but it works!

The battery is inside . Check the bottom of your device ! if you see screws , then you need to screw them and look for the battery . If you didn't see the screws , then there is a special mechanism to take off the cover of your device . You need to figure this mechanism to replace the battery .

My Liebert PSA itON 600 UPS keeps beeping when i turned it on

To figure out what's wrong with the UPS, first you have to do a few things.

When calculating the rating a UPS can handle, it's voltage x amperage. If it's Watts multiply the number by 1.67 to give the rating of the device.

Add up all the devices (use the power supply rating in the computer) as well as any other device, and add them up.

If this rating was exceeded, then you have overloaded the UPS. If it was too long that you did this, then you wore out the battery.

When a UPS beeps even when not connected, that means the battery is very weak.

If the battery is more than 3 years old, it will need to be changed. If the online tests of the unit were done and the battery doesn't need replacing, then other parts of the UPS need fixing.

Check the battery.

Change batteries in a targus portable mouse

I found the user guide in French. It says to slide back the cover behind the Logo on top.
also found it in English:

Installing the Batteries
Optical Mouse
1 Remove the battery cover from the top of the mouse by
pressing the top center (over the Targus logo) and
sliding it back.
2 Insert the supplied batteries , making sure that the
positive (+) and negative (-) ends of each battery match
the polarity indicators inside the battery housing.
WARNINGS: When replacing the batteries, you may use
alkaline or other heavy-duty NiMH batteries. Never
combine an alkaline with a NiMH battery in a device.
Avoid mixing new and used batteries in a device.
3 Slide the battery cover back in to position until it “clicks”
firmly into place.
4 Turn on the mouse by sliding the on/off switch on the
bottom of the mouse to the “on” position.
The optical sensor, located on the bottom of the mouse,
glows red.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

How do you cahnge teh battery in teh device

Same batteries are replaceable, some are permanent. Best way to find out is go to vzw.com or call 800-922-0204 and see if the battery is sold separately as an accessory. If it is sold seperately then it is replaceable and Verizon Wireless Tech support can tell you exactly how to open it up and replace the battery. If it is not listed as an accessory on vzw.com for your card, then it is not replaceable.

Well I got to the battery, but still haven't figured out how to get it out. To get to where I got to first pop the front silver suround off then remove the 4 retaining screws and the body will come off, next cut the foil around the speaker and take out the 2 screws, you can then see the battery. Where to from here? please!!
