Question about Nintendo Wii Rock Band Guitar for Wii

Rock Band wireless guitar won't sync with Wii

I see that a lot of people are having trouble syncing the Rock Band guitar with their Wii. Ours is wireless & having the same trouble. We've tried disconnecting the remotes individually, then reseting the console. Nothing has worked. I'm wondering if EA Games just made a bunch of junk guitars to put out for Christmas!? Ours does the same thing. It worked when we got it and now just blinking lights. The Mic and the drums work fine. They are all from the same rock band 1 band kit.

The guitar for rock band 1 worked fine when we first got it. Now it just has flashing blue lights and when it finally does link up it disconnects in mid song. Very frustrating!!!

Check the back of the guitar there should be an on/off switch. Make sure its flipped on and it should work. Hope this helps.

I have guitar hero rock band set and bought rock band. The guitar an drums are set up on wireless how do you sync them to work with this game?

look on the instruments for a red button. press this button at the same time you press the red button on the front of your wii console. this should sync the system to the controllers. (the guitar should already be synced since you plug the wii remote into it, but do it anyway)

Lights flashing on guitar and usb

If you are using the Fender Stratocaster Rock Band Guitar:

1) Ensure you have fresh batteries in the Wireless Guitar
2) Insert receiver into USB hub
3) Turn on Guitar via switch on back.
4) If both the guitar and the USB receiver is flashing blue, then press the guitar logo button until flashing blue light on the receiver stops flashing.

Note that on Rock Band 1, non-Rock Band guitars (ie: Guitar Hero and Wiimote based guitars) generally don't work.

Good luck!

Syncing with Rock Band.

From Harmonix spokesperson: "Support for the GHIII guitar peripherals in Rock Band on the Wii was not possible without Activision's permission. Therefore, any questions regarding lack of compatibility with GH III hardware should be directed to Activision."
