I can't get my printer to print color. My printer has been sitting for a while, and I just added a new ink cartrige, although the old one still had 65 percent usage. Can you help? What can I do to solve the problem?
MAYBE YOU ADDED A BLACK INK CARTRIDGE RATHER THAN THE COLOR ONE ? OR MAYBE YOU HAVE THE COLOR CARTRIDGE PLUGGED INTO THE BLACK INK ONE ? DONT KNOW IF THIS WILL HELP BUT THOSE WOULD BE THE FIRST FEW THINGS I WOULD CHECK. I ALWAYS SEEM TO MISS THE OBVIOUS WHEN SOMETHING ISNT WORKING FOR ME

Ok. Remove both cartriges. Put them aside. Remove the new printhead from its bag and all the protection things. To remove the old one, press the button at the top left of the printhead. Put the new printhead in, secure it by pressing the sticker with the finger, and replace the cartriges and print the alignment page.
